If you have ordered in a discontinued color before this Color maybe no longer available or only if we can get the requested color through another supplier and may have an UP Charge if found. We know changes like this are inconvenient, but we will do our best to accommodate your color selections using stock, or using a Cordura Color or Dickenson Fabric option.

Cordura Fabrics

Dickson's North American Collection includes a vast selection of mildew-resistant, water-repellent fabrics. Its special Cleangard® finish delays the formation and growth of dirt, making it easy to maintain. Woven with 100% solution-dyed acrylic, this high-strength awning fabric is robust.

NOTE

Dickson Fabrics come as 47" Width Bolts. Drapes made with DICKSON may vary in seams and how they are put together.

  • - Fabric Care Recommendations -

    High Quality Performance Cordura Nylon & Sunbrella Fabrics

    One of the best ways to keep Sunbrella, DICKSON & Cordura fabrics looking good and to delay deep or vigorous cleanings is to properly maintain the fabrics. This can be accomplished by simply brushing off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, wiping up spills as soon as they occur or spot cleaning soon after stains occur.

    When cleaning Sunbrella, DICKSON & Cordura fabrics, it is important to observe the following:

         Always use a mild detergent such as Woolite or Ivory dish washing liquid.
         Water should be cold to lukewarm.
         Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.
         Air dry only. Never apply heat to Sunbrella or Cordura fabrics.
         DO NOT Dry Clean

    General or light cleaning

    To clean Sunbrella, DICKSON or Cordura fabric while still hung or laid out flat:

         Brush off loose dirt.
         Hose down.
         Prepare a cleaning solution of water and mild soap such as Woolite or Ivory dish washing liquid.
         Use a soft bristle brush to clean.
         Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.
         Rinse thoroughly until all detergent residue is removed.
         Air dry

         DO NOT Dry clean SUNBRELLA, DICKSON or CORDURA Fabrics

         Sunbrella, DICKSON & Cordura air dries very quickly. Machine drying is not recommended or necessary.

    MACHINE WASHING OR DRY CLEANING VOIDS ANY WARRANTY ON FABRICS OR PRODUCT

         If fabric has some wrinkling, use an iron, if necessary, NOT RECOMMENDED, but only on the synthetic setting.

         DO NOT IRON OVER ANY GRAPHICS! Ironing the graphics will damage them and ruin your display

         As some irons exceed the recommended temperature on the synthetic setting, test a small inconspicuous area before ironing entire piece. DO NOT use a steamer or iron set to steam setting.

    Use of bleach and/or advanced cleaning agents may impact the deterioration of the sewing thread and other non Sunbrella or Cordura components such as your applied Graphics.

    CORDURA NYLON & SUNBRELLA FABRIC FACTS;
    The Dyeing process uses many chemicals in the manufacturing of CORDURA & SUNBRELLA.
    This fiber is petroleum based and heavily receives chemical treatments during its manufacturing.
    CORDURA Nylon & SUNBRELLA manufacturing process receives many kinds of chemicals such as detergents, petrochemical dyes, bleaching agents, softener agents and among others. Thus, these chemicals still remain after the manufacturing process is over and may cause an odor.
    To "FRESHEN" or remove any of these manufacturing smells it is recommended to spray the fabrics with a Natural Neutralizer spray such as "Nature's Miracle"., "Zero Odor PRO", Do not use a "COVER UP " Spray.
